Education support
The Redcar & Cleveland education team believes young people should be given the opportunity to develop their ideas and ambitions, whatever form they may take.
What is enterprise?
Enterprise is about developing the capability to handle uncertainty and respond positively to change. It is about enabling individuals and organisations to create and implement new ideas and new ways of doing things. Enterprise skills allow people, whatever their age, to apply their knowledge to deliver a better service or product. This could mean developing a new idea, product or service.
In essence enterprise is about promoting a ‘can do’ attitude.
Enterprise education overlaps with core skills and the Every Child Matters agenda and therefore reinforces these aspects.
