Start Up Guide

  • All new clients attend an Introduction to Enterprise session, where the range of opportunities and diversity of possibilities will be discussed with a member of the Enterprise Team. It is an informal interactive session and clients will take part in activities to help them understand and develop their enterprise skills. At the end of this session clients are offered an appointment with an Enterprise Coach.

  • The initial meeting with the Enterprise Coach is an opportunity for the Coach to gain an understanding of the client’s basic idea. This will be followed by more in depth analysis of the client, looking at their strengths and weaknesses and from this form a plan to take the idea forward. Clients will be forwarded to any appropriate business support that the Coach may have identified as being necessary e.g. marketing, writing a business plan, book-keeping.
  • There is no limit to the numbers of sessions that a client can have with a Coach. At the point when the client decides to continue down the self-employment route and sets up in business they can be referred onto the Business Start Up Coach. The Business Start Up coach will continue to support the clients from the point at which they start trading.
