McCartie Electrical Services sparking change in the region - 08/06/09

McCartie Electrical Services with support from Redcar and Cleveland’s Enterprise Team (LEGI) have been bucking business trends during this tough economic climate.

Only launched in June last year the business has managed to not only  survive through the recession so far, but expand. Initially starting with only two employees, the business now has an impressive growth to five permanent staff and a string of 14 sub - contractors on their payroll.   

Since relocating their business to meet demands of their clients, McCartie Electrical Services have received in-depth support from Redcar and Cleveland’s local enterprise team. They received funding which enabled the business to expand, and access to help and advice from the team on business growth and strategy issues.

Chris McCartie, founder and director had this to say, “I think our success has been down to our sound relations with clients and determination to go the extra mile to provide a quality service. We are continuously trying to push boundaries whilst maintaining our reliable and trustworthy image.”

Specialising in a diverse range of markets from domestic, commercial and consultancy has helped them  succeed. They are currently competing for regional and national contracts for new business.   
 
With the support of the Enterprise Team, McCartie Electrical Services are looking to move into larger premises within Skelton Industrial Estate.
